Submit your poem, no later than October 2 at midnight, to: imam@muslimknoxville.org

The first five poems of each level will be called to share their poems at the “Sharing Day Ceremony” (October 7^th)

Rules and Regulations

Open to middle school, high school, and adult participants, both males and females.
Poems must be the participant's original work. Plagiarism is grounds for immediate disqualification.
Poems must adhere to the theme selected.
Participant can compose their poems in English or Arabic.
Poems must be submitted between September 17 and October 2, midnight. Poems after October 2 will not be eligible for participation.
Formatting: Author's name and age should be on the bottom right of the poem. Spelling and neatness will be judged as your work should reflect respect for the content.
Poems do not have to follow a rhyme scheme but will be judged for their voice delivery.
All decisions made by the judging committee are final and binding.
