Eid ul-Adha is on Tuesday, August 21st!

Alhamdulillah, we are excited to announce that according to The Fiqh Council of North America (who have confirmed with the Hajj authorities in Makkah), the official date for Eidul Adha 1439/2018 is Tuesday, August 21st. The Muslim Community of Knoxville will be holding prayers for Eidul Adha at the Knoxville Convention Center on Tuesday, August 21st at 8:30 AM SHARP, insha Allah (click here for address/directions). Imam Rafiq Mahdi will be delivering the Eid Sermon. Takbiraat (group praise) will begin at 8:00 AM.

Eid celebration will be held at Victor Ashe park on Saturday, August 25th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Stay tuned to our event page for exciting updates!

Friends and neighbors are welcome to a night of dialogue at our monthly Open House! Come tour our prayer space, meet our members and leaders, hear answers to frequently asked questions about Islam, and learn what it means to be a Muslim in Knoxville. Family friendly. Everyone is welcome!
