Since its founding in the 1980s, Muslim Community of Knoxville (MCK)’s vision has been to raise a Prophetic community. Now you can support and empower MCK’s vision and mission with a yearly membership. By signing up, you help us create better programming and activities, provide more assistance, and sustain our team’s efforts for building the future of MCK.
The deadline to register for 2023-2024 membership year is November 7, 2023.

Existing members who registered last year or who have donated can renew their memberships in the following ways:
You must still qualify for all membership criteria including residency requirements, faith, bylaws, and activity participation.
Past registrants: Renew your membership payment OR continue donating based on requirements below:
Remember: To qualify, all member donations (monthly or one-time) must be from approved MCK sources like ACH/Direct Deposit, Check, Donorbox, Stripe, Paypal, Square or Cash. Donations given for zakat, sadaqa, or affiliate donations to other orgs like Tayseer, AAK, etc do not qualify.
Additional Criteria Includes:
Anyone over the age of 18 can be a member of MCK.
Your membership payment serves to support MCK. We encourage you make your payment and consider it as a sadaqah for the masjid.
However, if you can’t make it, don’t let that stop you from becoming a member of our beautiful community! You can still complete the registration without payment and become a member.

All members are required to declare they are of Muslim faith and are willing to become a member of the Muslim Community of Knoxville.
All members gain the ability to vote in Shura elections for the MCK board. They also gain eligibility for serving on the Shura board provided they meet the qualifications.
To qualify to vote, individuals must be a resident of the greater Knoxville area for at least 90 days before the election date.
Shura board members are nominated by the community to the Election Board. To be eligible for serving on the Shura board, individuals must be a resident of the greater Knoxville area for at least 1 year before the election date.
