3rd Annual Poetry Competition

The 3rd Annual Poetry Competition is here! Participants from 9 years old and up are highly encouraged to use their writing talent to compose poems about the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).

Theme

The theme this year is “What would you tell him if one day you meet him?”, and participants are asked to write a poem of at least 30 verses to share their longing and yearning to meet the prophet (peace be upon him) and what they would tell him if they meet him.

Chance to Share Your Poem

All participants will have a chance to share their poems at the Poetry Night on Friday October 4th at Masjid Annoor (Maghrib -Isha) and the first 5 best poems will be given a chance to share their poems at the 3 rd Beloved Seerah Conference on Sat. Last Date of Poem Submission

Poems are due on Sept. 28th. Any poems received after this date, will not be considered in the competition. Please email your poem to: admin@muslimknoxville.org
