“O Prophet, We have sent you as a witness, a deliverer of good news,

HOW CAN WE MAKE TIMES OF CRISIS DA’WA & GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES
FOR OUR COMMUNITY?
Within the tumultuous landscape of today's world, where global conflicts and
geopolitical tensions dominate the headlines, Muslim families in the West find
themselves at the intersection of faith and the trials of the modern age. Our
unity and solidarity should empower us to make a real difference in our
neighborhoods, local communities, nations, and the world. And those pursuits
are worthy of our time and attention. Thankfully, programs like the Beloved
Seerah Conference stand out as a beacon of light to help educate, raise
awareness and dispel any misconceptions about Islam and Muslims.

GENERATIONAL TRAUMA & ITS IMPACT ON MUSLIM FAMILIES
فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
"Indeed, with hardship comes ease." [Surah Ash-Sharh 94:5-6]
The way we raise our children can vary depending on many factors. Our own
upbringing, cultural background, education, and region in which we live can
all contribute to our parenting style. But did you know that generational
trauma may also play a role? In fact, some experts argue that generational
trauma is embedded into our very genetic material, and may influence our
parenting. With islamophobia running rampant worldwide and many Muslim
families fleeing from countries that have been invaded, colonized, and
destabilized, we should be aware of the impacts that trauma can potentially
have on our future generations and work to counter its negative effects.
UNDER ALLAH’S SHADE: PROPHETIC ADVICES TO THE YOUTH
How can youth keep up with their Deen and Muslim identity in a time that is
full of distractions and challenges? How can they continue their Islam as
adults after graduation? How can they handle finances and build their
families? How can they contribute to the growth of the Muslim community?
High school students, college students and young professionals are all
welcome to join this session with Mufti Kamani.

A TURMOIL, BUT A STRUGGLE FOR FREEDOM, JUSTICE & PEACE
UNDERKEYNOTE SPEECH, FOLLOWED BY DR. MARWA ASSAR BOOK SIGNING
“Indeed, We have created humankind in constant struggle.” [Al-Tin: 4]
Why this is happening to the Ummah of the Beloved Prophet (peace be
upon him)? Are we witnessing a turmoil, or is it the end of world? How do
we understand what’s going in Syria, in Egypt, in Sudan, in Afghanistan, in
Yamen, … and lately in Gaza / Palestine? It’s a struggle for freedom, justice
and peace, not a turmoil as many of us may think. Join this panel to learn
how.

INJUSTICE, OPPRESION, SKEPTICISM, DOUBLE STANDRDS, ETC - HOW
DOES THE PROPHETIC MODEL GUIDE US TO DEAL WITH IT ALL?
KEYNOTE SPEECH & Q/A
Lots of us watch in shock, horror and anger the ongoing attacks on
Gaza/Palestine. The killing of any civilian is wrong and is condemned and
must be stopped immediately. This is something made clear in Islam as well
as in international laws. Our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) teaches
us how turning to Allah in times of distress must be coupled with personal
responsibility in all things. So, what can we all do for Gaza or for the
oppressed in general?

THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY & THE AMERICAN POLITICAL PROCESS: WHAT
WOULD THE PROPHET ADVISE US TO DO?
“You are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin what is
right forbid what is wrong, and you believe in God.” [al-Imran: 110]
Our Ummah is charged with the same mission as our beloved Prophet
was. Our mission is the same as his - witnessing the Truth. If we as an
Ummah properly fulfill our duty of witnessing the Truth, yet the people
around us do not pay heed, we as an Ummah will be rewarded by Allah
because we tried our utmost best. However, if we as an Ummah neglect
our duties or give false witness, we will deserve to be punished more
severely than others. We as an Ummah shall be accountable not only for
our own misdeeds, but also for the misdeeds of those who went
astray because the testimony given to them by us was misleading or false.
