Eid-ul-Fitr Prayer will be held at 9 am on Monday, May 2, 2022 at the World’s Fair Park Festival Lawn (963 World’s Fair Park Drive, in downtown Knoxville).
Bring a blanket or a tarp for your family to sit and pray on. Some chairs will be available for our members who sit for prayer, but lawn chairs are welcome.
Eid Celebration: After Prayer
After prayer, free coffee and tea will be provided, as well as donuts and water, InshaAllah. Plus an obstacle course for kids! Other dessert and food vendors will be onsite to take orders. Eat treats with your family and friends!
In the event of other inclement weather on Sunday night or Monday, prayer will be moved to the World’s Fair Exhibition Hall, directly across the street from the Festival Lawn.
There is no parking on-site. Parking is available a short walking distance in public lots across the street from the Foundry and next to the Knoxville Museum of Art and former Fort Kid playground. Paid parking meters are also available, as well as paid parking at the Holiday Inn and Tennessean hotels.
You may also park for free at the masjid and take a free shuttle to the Eid prayer! Shuttles will be available starting 8am and returning by 11:30am.
